Kenneth J. Meyer

Executive Vice President of Operations

Ken Meyer is the executive vice president of operations at Whole Foods Market.  His responsibilities include overseeing day-to-day operations, development, design, and innovations in existing stores and stores in the pipeline.  Meyer joined the company when Whole Foods Market acquired Fresh Fields in 1996.

Through the years, Meyer has held multiple leadership roles within Whole Foods Market, including store team leader, vice president of the Southwest Region, and president of the South and Mid-Atlantic Regions. 

He holds a bachelor’s degree in food systems and economic management from Michigan State University.  Meyer sits on the board of directors for Whole Kids Foundation.
