Errol Schweizer

Executive Global Grocery Coordinator

As the senior global grocery coordinator, Errol plays a crucial role in setting Whole Foods Market apart from big-box food retailers. With more than 18 years of experience working in virtually every aspect of food retail -- from coordinating a CSA and co-op market and managing overnight stock crews to running the helm of Whole Foods Market’s Global Grocery program -- Errol knows what makes a product stand out on the shelf. Throughout his decade at the company, Errol has brought thousands of the industry’s culinary finds and foodie treasures to Whole Foods Market’s grocery aisles. When it comes to staying ahead of consumer trends, pushing the limits on providing ethical/responsible sourcing, non-GMO choices, organic variety and delicious options to meet every kind of special diet under the sun, Errol’s driving the charge.

Errol also played an integral role in developing, driving and launching Whole Foods Market’s Eco-ScaleTM Rating System – the industry’s first and only set of green household cleaning standards to help shoppers maker smarter, greener choices for their homes and for the planet.

In 2012 Errol was recognized by company leadership as a National Global All *Star most notably for living the company’s core value of creating ongoing win-win partnership with suppliers and for bringing more exclusive products to Whole Foods Market’s shelves in his first three years as global coordinator, than in the company’s history before he took the reins. Errol’s passion for food, the environment, his team and the business make him an invaluable asset to the Whole Foods Market team and an expert source.
