Mark Dixon

President – Southwest Region

Mark Dixon has been working in the natural foods industry for 27 years.  He joined Whole Foods Market in 1984 as a Grocery Team Member. Mark quickly moved into leadership, leading the Whole Body and Prepared Foods departments.  After serving as Team Leader for five different stores, Mark became the Vice President of Operations in 2002 and was promoted to President of the Southwest Region three years later.  Mark oversees 24 stores, one distribution center, two bakehouses, and a culinary center in the states of  Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, and Arkansas.  Mark’s passion for excellence touches all aspects of leading a region including: operations, purchasing, growth, store design and Team Member happiness and development.
