New calendar for a cause available at Whole Foods Market now

Austin, Texas (Nov. 1, 2012) – Whole Planet Foundation’s 2013 calendars are now on sale at Whole Foods Market stores in the U.S.  

The calendars, which support the foundation’s microlending programs, cost $3 apiece and feature photos of microcredit clients from 12 of the 53 countries where the nonprofit funds poverty alleviation. The calendars also include more than $40 worth of coupons for natural and organic products.

Since 2006, calendar sales have generated $454,298 for the foundation, empowering more than 2,700 microentrepreneurs with the chance to create or expand home-based businesses and lift their families out of poverty.
