  • Spectrum Naturals olive oils
  • Traditional Medicinals teas

Why: Whole Foods Market is highlighting the breadth of non-GMO choices it offers for shoppers who are are looking to avoid GMOs. In addition to choosing from more than 8,500 Non-GMO Project Verified items, shoppers looking to avoid GMOs can also choose from the grocer’s more than 25,000 organic items, as the USDA National Organic Standards prohibit the use of genetically modified organisms in organic food.

FYI:  Whole Foods Market is the first national grocery chain to set a deadline for full GMO transparency. By 2018, the company will provide full GMO transparency on all of its food products in its U.S. and Canadian stores.
