Whole Foods Market will open a 40,000-square-foot store at the Shoppes at Belmont on the southeast corner of Fruitville Pike and Route 30 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. An opening date has not been set.
The store will be part of a mixed-use development with retail and residental amenities, including bike and walking trails, which will connect vistitors to the heart of Lancaster.
“The people in and around Lancaster have been asking for a Whole Foods Market for some time now – and we’re excited to make it a reality,” said Scott Allshouse, president of Whole Foods Market's Mid-Atlantic Region. “While we have deep roots in Pennsylvania, this new store will allow that commitment to grow even stronger, with both customers and local suppliers alike."
