Whole Foods Market is celebrating spring with a Rosé Renaissance! A glass of chilled, refreshing rosé is perfect when the temperatures start to climb. This pink-hued wine is having a major moment, with skyrocketing growth over the last 10 years, and especially in recent years, making it a popular, crowd-pleasing choice this spring and summer.
Below are a few of Whole Foods Market’s favorite rosé wines, complete with tasting notes and recommended food pairings.
Miraval Côtes de Provence Rosé, Provence France – This complex rosé has a refreshing acidity and a long, vibrant finish with raspberry, wild strawberry and wet stone flavors. It is best paired with crudités, grilled salmon, roast chicken or tapenade and toasts.
SeaGlass Rosé of Pinot Noir, Monterey County, California – With a crisp acidity and fruity aromas, this rosé offers notes of juicy strawberry, cranberry and a touch of spice. Try it with vegetarian tacos topped with queso fresco or charcuterie served with a crunchy French bread.
Innovaciôn Malbec-Syrah Rosé, Mendoza, Argentina – This rosé is fresh and dry with mouthwatering acidity and offers notes of dried strawberries, tropical fruits and hints of white pepper and cinnamon. It is best enjoyed when paired with Fourme d’Ambert cheese, hamburgers, seafood burgers or salami and charcuterie.
