Whole Foods Market plans to open a store in Shreveport, La., in 2015.

The 39,000-square-foot store will be near the intersection of East 70th Street and Fern Avenue.

Whole Foods Market currently operates three Louisiana stores—in Baton Rouge, Metairie and New Orleans—and in 2014, will open stores on Broad Street in New Orleans, and in Lafayette.

In its quarterly earnings report Wednesday, the company also announced new leases for stores in Andersonville, Ill., Chicago, Beverly, Mass., Portsmouth, N.H., Clark, N.J., Dayton, Ohio, Allentown, Pa., Hilton Head, S.C., Germantown, Tenn., The Woodlands, Texas, and Washington, D.C.
