Bobby Turner joined Whole Foods Market in 1993. He is a professional in the Natural and Organic industry, with 20+ years of experience in retail operations, supply chain management, and supplier relations. Previous to his current position, he held several managerial positions within Whole Foods Market, and most recently was Vice President of Purchasing and Distribution in the Midwest Region, overseeing eight states and a Canadian Province.
Bobby is active in the local food movement and commits personal time to serving on the boards of several nonprofit organizations, including FamilyFarmed, Good Food Accelerator, Washburne Culinary & Hospitality Institute and Conscious Capitalism Chicago Chapter. He is also a mentor with Good Foods Accelerator and helps food entrepreneurs and farmers in underserved areas develop their knowledge and skills in marketing, operations, financing, and strategy in order to thrive commercially and have a powerful ripple effect on the local economy.
When not contributing to the natural and organic movement, he spends his time practicing yoga, cycling, and traveling.
