Nicole Wescoe

President, Northeast Region

Nicole Wescoe began her career with Whole Foods Market in 1993 as a team leader in the bakery, specialty and grocery departments at stores in the Mid-Atlantic region. She worked her way up to Associate Store Team Leader and Store Team Leader before relocating to the Northeast region, where she spent six years as Regional Vice President. Nicole returned to the Mid-Atlantic in 2013 to serve as Executive Coordinator and then Regional Vice President, overseeing 15 new stores, four relocations and 10 renovations during her leadership tenure in the two regions.

Bobby Turner

President, South Region

Bobby Turner joined Whole Foods Market in 1993. He is a professional in the Natural and Organic industry, with 20+ years of experience in retail operations, supply chain management, and supplier relations. Previous to his current position, he held several managerial positions within Whole Foods Market, and most recently was Vice President of Purchasing and Distribution in the Midwest Region, overseeing eight states and a Canadian Province.

Jeff Turnas

Senior Vice President of Global Culinary Procurement and Operations

Jeff Turnas is Senior Vice President of Global Culinary Procurement and Operations for Whole Foods Market. In this role, Jeff oversees the company’s Global Prepared Foods and Bakery teams and programs. He works closely with merchandising, operations and regional leaders to help articulate and execute a unified Prepared Foods and Bakery strategy for the entire company. With more than 20 years of experience at Whole Foods Market, Jeff has leadership experience in five different regions, with a varied background in both operations and product buying and sourcing.

David Schwartz is Regional President for Whole Foods Market’s Midwest Region. He has more than 25 years of experience in various roles at Whole Foods Market. Before becoming Regional President of the Midwest in 2019, David was Vice President of Prime Now Operations. He also previously served as Regional Vice President for the Florida and Midwest Regions. David started his career with Whole Foods Market as a Store Manager for Fresh Fields (now Whole Foods Market) and held store leadership positions at a number of Whole Foods Market stores across the country.

Matt Ray

President, Southwest Region

Matt Ray is Regional President for Whole Foods Market’s Southwest Region. Starting as a Grocery Associate Team Leader in the Academy store in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Matt has nearly two decades of experience in various roles at Whole Foods Market.

Juan Núñez has spent his career in natural and organic foods beginning with Mrs. Gooch’s Natural Foods in California in 1982. He has been with Whole Foods Market since 1993 when the company acquired Mrs. Gooch’s, where he was regional operations director. He has held various positions with Whole Foods Market, including store team leader, director of store operations in the Southern California Region, and vice president of the Southwest Region

Angela Lorenzen

President, Pacific Northwest Region

Angela Lorenzen is the Regional President for Whole Foods Market’s Pacific Northwest region where she oversees stores in Oregon, Washington and British Columbia. She began her career in the natural foods industry more than 25 years ago in her hometown of Petaluma, CA. Since joining Whole Foods Market in 2000, she’s served in a wide range of positions at every level of the company, beginning as a part-time grocery team member and moving into store leadership. She joined the Northern California regional team as an Executive Coordinator and later served as their Vice President of Operations. Angela’s also been recognized as a Whole Foods Market Global All-Star by the company.

Bill Jordan

President, Rocky Mountain Region

Bill Jordan has worked in the natural foods industry since 1985. Bill grew up in Southern California and began working as a courtesy clerk at Mrs. Gooch’s, a business Whole Foods Market acquired in 1993. Bill has served as an Associate Store Team Leader, a regional Grocery Coordinator, and most recently as a Regional Vice President of Operations and Purchasing for 16 years in the Southern Pacific region.

Omar Gaye

President , Northern California Region

Omar Gaye is Regional President of Whole Foods Market’s Northern California Region where he oversees stores in California and Nevada. Before this role, Omar was president of Whole Foods Market’s Southwest Region for two years and the South Region for five years. He started his career with Whole Foods Market in 1992 as a dishwasher and sandwich maker at Fresh Fields (now Whole Foods Market) in Tyson’s Corner, Va. Over his 25-year Whole Foods Market career, he has worked in 10 stores, served as store team leader in five and has been a leader in three regions.

Karen Christensen is Senior Vice President of Merchandising for Perishables for Whole Foods Market. Karen joined Whole Foods Market in 1998. For six years before becoming SVP, Karen served as the Regional Vice President of Whole Foods Market’s Northern California Region. She originally started as a Regional Produce Buyer and quickly made her way to roles like Regional Produce Coordinator, Global Produce Buyer, and Global Produce Coordinator.

Patrick Bradley has over 30 years experience within the natural foods and grocery industry, 25 of those years with Whole Foods Market.  His passion for food, innovation, creativity and retail excellence have contributed to the on-going success of Whole Foods Market. His career began while working for Mrs. Gooch’s Natural Foods Market which was acquired by Whole Foods Market in 1993.
