The Rodin Square mixed-use development, which will be anchored by a 55,000-square-foot Whole Foods Market store, will break ground Wednesday, Aug. 27, at the intersection of Pennsylvania Avenue and 22nd Street in Philadelphia.
The groundbreaking ceremony begins at 11 a.m., and will include remarks from several officials, including Scott Allshouse, president of Whole Foods Market’s Mid-Atlantic Region.
“Philadelphia is the heart and home to so many Whole Foods Market customers and team members alike – we are excited to be able to offer this new, innovative store near the same, great location,” Allshouse said. “Whole Foods Market has been here for decades, building meaningful relationships with local shoppers, suppliers and organizations. This development will allow us to do so for many more decades to come.”
