Tallahassee, Fla. – Whole Foods Market, the world’s leading natural and organic foods supermarket, will host a Local Supplier Fair on Monday, June 10 from 3 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. The event, which is in partnership with the Greater Tallahassee Chamber of Commerce, will take place at Coton Colors Headquarters, located at 2718 Centerville Road in Tallahassee.

Coton Colors is local designer and manufacturer of colorful, handcrafted pottery, creative giftware and seasonal décor inspired by the celebrations of life.

The Local Supplier Fair is a precursor to Whole Foods Market opening a store in Tallahassee this fall – its 20th in Florida.

At the heart of Whole Foods Market’s philosophy is to seek out and support local suppliers and farmers in the communities they serve.

Dozens of local suppliers will have the opportunity to learn about Whole Foods Market’s Quality Standards and the process by which to submit their products for consideration. Representatives from Whole Foods Market’s regional office will be available to meet with local suppliers and answer questions. While in the area, company representatives will also be visiting Tallahassee-area farms and seafood suppliers in the Gulf.

The Local Supplier Fair is open to the media. During the event, Russ Benblatt from Whole Foods Market will be your on-site media contact and can be reached at (954) 882-7601.
