Whole Foods Market’s Pompano Beach store will open Wednesday, Jan. 28, at 2411 N. Federal Highway.  The store’s grand opening celebration will kick off at 8:45 a.m. with a bread-breaking ceremony. The doors will open at 9 a.m. The first 500 customers will receive gift cards valued between $5 and $500.

The Pompano Beach store will uniquely feature a wine and beer bar that will offer pizza, pasta and signature meatballs made in house, personal shopping and provisioning services open to yachts, boats, jets, hotel guests and private residences, and local suppliers like Juicers and U RAWk energy bars.

Additionally, the store will house a 15 flavor soup bar, coffee roasted in house, and house-made sausages. As with every Whole Foods Market store, Pompano Beach will open with a full-time healthy eating specialist to help customers make informed decisions about healthy foods, teach cooking classes and lead store tours.

The 40,100-square-foot store will carry a vintage nautical theme. There is also an exclusive community room that can be reserved for meetings, lectures, kids clubs, etc. Outdoor seating will also be available for those wishing to eat al fresco.

Whole Foods Market will celebrate the grand opening by hosting five community-giving days where local organizations will receive 1 percent of the day’s sales. Beneficiaries include Broward Children’s Center, Pompano Beach Arts and The Fruitful Field Community Garden, among others.

Whole Foods Market Pompano Beach will be open Monday-Saturday from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m., and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Sundays. Follow the store at facebook.com/WholeFoodsMarketPompano and Instagram @WFMPompano.
