Whole Foods Market’s first store in New York’s Capital Region will open its doors on Wednesday, June 18. The day's events will begin with a bread-breaking ceremony at 8:30 a.m., and the store will officially open at 9 a.m.

Located at the Colonie Center Mall (intersection of Central Avenue and Wolf Road in Colonie, N.Y.), Whole Foods Market Albany will be a community destination, offering residents the full range of high-quality, natural and organic foods the retailer is known for.

The store will be home to a number of local products from farms and producers throughout the region.
