Whole Foods Market’s seventh San Francisco store, which opens Wednesday, Nov. 6, will feature an array of unique products and services.
The store’s offerings include honeycomb from local producer Steve’s Bees, fresh oysters, a dedicated Paleo section on the hot bar, public transportation monitors displaying Muni and BART times, Japanese-style baum cakes, and a shoeshine and news stand.
“The Bay Area is one of the most innovative and advanced food destinations in the world, and we work to ‘up the ante’ every time we open a store here,” said Rob Twyman, president of Whole Foods Market’s Northern California & Reno Region. “City shoppers in Mission Dolores and The Castro want an interactive, customized and localized shopping experience with plenty of convenient options. These new products and services are designed to provide that, along with highlighting our community partners and offering our classic selection of the highest quality natural and organic products.”
