Whole Foods Market’s first store in Brooklyn, N.Y., will open Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 214 3rd Street.
At more than 56,000 square feet, the Third & 3rd store will offer a full range of high-quality natural and organic foods and will feature a 20,000-square-foot rooftop greenhouse built in partnership with New York’s Gotham Greens.
The Third & 3rd store will be home to a host of local products from many of Brooklyn’s noted artisanal producers, with one-of-a-kind exclusive items in every department, as well as The Roof, a second-floor indoor/outdoor tap room and restaurant, and an in-store, take-out venue from noted ramen chef Yuji Hariguchi.
