With over 20 years of experience, Sonya Gafsi Oblisk is a seasoned business leader who puts the customer in the center of all decision-making to create memorable brands, products, and experiences. She oversees Whole Foods Market’s strategy, merchandising, ecommerce, and product management, as well as marketing, customer insights, private brands, and sustainability efforts across all of Amazon’s Worldwide Grocery Stores banners – Whole Foods Market, Amazon Fresh, and Amazon Go. 

Prior to joining Whole Foods Market in 2016, she was a company officer at Walmart where she most recently served as Vice President of Marketing for Sam’s Club. 

Sonya earned a Master of Business Administration degree from The Anderson School at UCLA and a Bachelor of Arts degree from Emory University in Atlanta. She is a yoga enthusiast and an avid scuba diver. Sonya and her husband, Dave, enjoy traveling, cooking and walking the trails in Austin.
