Matt Ray is Senior Vice President of Operations for Whole Foods Market’s Southeast Region. Starting as a Grocery Associate Team Leader in the Academy store in Albuquerque, New Mexico, Matt has nearly two decades of experience in various roles at Whole Foods Market.
Matt’s passion for food, people and purpose have taken him across Whole Foods Market’s Southwest, Northeast, and Mid-Atlantic regions. Before becoming President of the Southwest Region in July 2019, Matt was a Category Leader at Amazon. Prior to that role, Matt was Regional Vice President of the Mid-Atlantic region.
