BOCA RATON, Fla. (Feb. 11, 2025) – Today, Whole Foods Market opened a new 35,000-square-foot store located at 9560 Glades Road in the Uptown Boca shopping center. The West Boca Raton store’s product assortment includes more than 700 locally sourced items from Florida, each meeting Whole Foods Market’s rigorous Quality Standards.

“We’re excited to open our doors in West Boca Raton and offer a space that reflects the vibrant energy and unique tastes of this community,” said Nick Ayoub, Store Team Leader at Whole Foods Market. “This store is a celebration of Florida’s incredible local producers and artisans, featuring fresh seafood, produce, and specialty items that highlight the best of the state. We’re proud to provide a shopping destination where customers can enjoy both exceptional service and a curated selection of high-quality products designed to meet their needs.”

Opening morning, customers were treated to complimentary coffee from Wells Coffee Co. and fresh baked cookies from Gringuita Cookies. The first 300 shoppers in line were given a limited-edition West Boca Raton tote bag and a Secret Saver coupon, featuring offers of up to $100.

Additionally on opening morning, Whole Foods Market provided a food donation to Palm Beach Harvest. The nonprofit previously received a refrigerated van from the company, which makes regular surplus food pickups from Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community. Both donations are part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport food to areas facing the greatest need: each donated van has the capacity to rescue more than 1 million pounds of food, equating to over 866,000 meals, per year.
