Whole Foods Market’s Broad Street store, which opens Tuesday, Feb. 4, in New Orleans, will feature products from nearly 40 local suppliers, including Gracious Bakery, Bittersweet Confections, Boucherie, Breads on Oak, Cake Café, and District Donuts.
The store also will offer favorite Whole Foods Market recipes prepared by Liberty’s Kitchen.
Whole Foods Market seeks out culinary treasures from small, local food artisans who have passion for excellence, tradition, purity and regional identity.
“Louisiana is known for its amazing food and culture,” said Kelly Landrieu, the company’s product forager for Louisiana. “We are excited about the opportunity to showcase local producers and their stories in our stores.”
