Erik Brown began his three-decade long career with Whole Foods Market in 1990. Erik has held various roles, including serving as a Produce Coordinator across regions, such as the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic, and overseeing operations in the UK. Since 2015, he has served as the Executive Leader for Produce within the Perishable Purchasing Team. In his current role, Erik leads a skilled team of buyers and field team members, ensuring the delivery of top-quality produce and flowers to Whole Foods Market stores via distribution centers. His areas of expertise span retail, store design, procurement, logistics, and negotiation. Erik’s tenure at Whole Foods Market is marked by his unwavering commitment to quality and a passion for perishable products. Outside of work, Erik is passionate about farming and coaching youth hockey. He also actively contributes to industry organizations, including his role on the board of the International Fresh Produce Association. Based in Newton, Boston, Erik resides with his wife and three children, where he has cultivated a deep appreciation for the outdoors and a relentless pursuit of the finest local and quality foods.
