As Principal Planner, Local & Emerging Brands on Whole Foods Market’s Product Innovation and Development team, Kelly Landrieu works closely with the company’s regional foragers and buyers to ensure strong, win-win partnerships with local producers across all product categories. She creates tools for continued education and mentorship of current and future local suppliers, while supporting her forager partners in the field with onboarding suppliers and bringing new products to market. Most recently, Kelly helped develop and manage “Friends of Whole Foods Market” partnerships with artisans and restaurateurs. Through the program she brought local and national businesses into stores to operate as individual retailers within the walls of Whole Foods Market and Whole Foods Market 365 locations.
For more than four years, Kelly served as one of Whole Food Market’s local foragers, covering the Southwest Region, where she sought out and brought to market locally-sourced, innovative, and trending products within the organic and natural food space. Prior to her time at Whole Foods Market, Kelly held a wide variety of positions within the food industry including tech and nonprofit work. Kelly Landrieu is a native New Orleanian and currently resides in Austin, Texas.
