Whole Foods Market’s Frisco, Colo., store will open at 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 29, following a bread-breaking ceremony, remarks from company and local officials, and a donation to High Country Conservation Center.
The 32,000-square-foot store’s special features include fresh, local and organic produce, local meats from ranches throughout Colorado, a sandwich station, hot bar, soup bar, salad bar, coffee bar, fresh-rolled sushi, hand-tossed pizza, and a full bakery, offering homemade, filled-to-order doughnuts, Frisco hand-pies and organic baguettes baked fresh daily.
At an elevation of 9,097 feet, the store, at 261 Lusher Court, is Whole Foods Market’s highest location. The store employs more than 150 team members.
