• Renewable Content- Some frame temples are made from 100 percent bamboo, which grows faster than it is used. Other frame styles are constructed of plastics derived from softwood trees grown and harvested in a sustainable manner.
• Recycled Content- The material used in the manufacturing of the frames comes from pre-consumer scrap that has been recovered and otherwise diverted from the waste stream.
• Recyclable Content- The frame materials used in the products are fully recyclable. Some recyclers even accept the lens material!
• Carbon Neutral- The emissions generated by the manufacturing process and transportation of these frames, from point of origin to first purchase, has been verified, certified and off-set by the use of a carbon offset purchase program.
