Seattle. (July 3, 2008) —Whole Foods Market, the world’s leading natural and organic foods supermarket, is proud to be a presenting sponsor of the Seattle to Portland Bicycle Classic.

 

This 200-mile bicycle ride is the largest multi-day bicycle event in the Northwest, with up to 9,500 participants riding from Seattle to Portland in one or two days. The route takes you through the scenic valleys, forests, and farmlands of western Washington and Oregon.

To get riders ready the night before the event, Whole Foods Market Roosevelt Square location will be hosting a ‘Carb Loading Feast’ including all you can eat pasta, salad and bread: Carb Loading Feast.

When riders wake up from their pit stop in Centralia, Whole Foods Market will provide a hearty breakfast to get them going, including pancakes and sausages. And once they cross the finish line? Whole Foods Market booth will include food and goodies to ensure all riders have a great event, from start to finish.
