Miami, Fla. (May 28, 2025) – Whole Foods Market will open a new 53,400-square-foot store located at 2910 Biscayne Boulevard in Miami, Fla., at 9:00 a.m. on June 26. Regular store hours will be 7:30 a.m. – 10:00 p.m. daily. The new location’s product assortment features more than 500 local items from more than 130 Florida suppliers, sourced with the help of Dustin Kennedy, Forager for Local and Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.
The décor inspiration for the new store celebrates the vibrant spirit of the surrounding Miami area. Drawing from Miami’s Arts & Entertainment District, its bold fashion scene, and its signature bright, beautiful colors, the store reflects the city’s dynamic energy. Elements of local flora and fauna are seen throughout the space, with subtle bird motifs adding a fun touch.
Features of the new Midtown Miami store include:
- Full-service seafood counter featuring only sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed seafood and a large selection of pre-seasoned and marinated ready-to-cook items. Local options include red snapper and grouper from Greg Abrams Seafood, Gulf shrimp and Key West pink shrimp from Cox’s Seafood Co. and spiny lobster tails from Key’s Fisheries.
- Full-service coffee bar featuring Cuban-style coffee drinks, including the Cubano, Cortadito and Café con Leche.
- An array of certified organic, conventional and Sourced for Good produce. Local options include lychee and passion fruit from EcoRipe Tropicals, orchids from Silver Vase and watermelons from Jim Rash, Inc.
- Specialty department dedicated to celebrating cheesemakers and artisan producers. Local items include hand-wrapped fresh mozzarella from Mozzarita, Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Bars from 5150 Chocolate Co. and rosemary flatbread from Jennifer’s Homemade. The department also features a cheese counter overseen by trained cheesemongers who can offer recommendations for any occasion.
- Curated grocery section filled with exclusive brand favorites and local products, including snack bars from FROPRO, juices from 305 Squeezed and cold-pressed kombucha from Radiate Kombucha.
- Full-service meat counter, with butchers available to cut steaks and poultry to order. Features include in-house dry-aged meat selections and in-house made sausage. Local options include ground beef from Adam’s Ranch Natural Beef.
- Extensive selection of more than 240 craft beers and ready to drink cocktails, and more than 700 wines. Local beer options include Sunshine City IPA from Green Bench Brewing, Hazy Queen IPA from Prison Pals and Everhaze IPA from Tripping Animals Brewing.
- A Prepared Foods department featuring fresh pizza, food bars, soup selections, made-to-order sandwiches and sushi made fresh daily from Sushi Maki.
- Bakery department offering breads baked fresh daily as well as everyday favorites, such as Whole Foods Market’s Berry Chantilly Cake and brown butter cookies. The department also carries a wide variety of special diet items. Local offerings include breads, baked goods and desserts from Zak the Baker, Bunnie Cakes, Simply Delicious Bakers, Gelato Fino and Momma’s Baked Goods.
- Whole Body department with a large assortment of wellness, beauty and lifestyle items. Local products include argan and pumpkin ultra hydrating shampoo and conditioner from Acure, Ashwagandha stress and mood supplement from Garden of Life and protein powder from RSP Nutrition.
Opening morning, customers will enjoy complimentary coffee from Wells Coffee and breakfast treats from Zak the Baker. The first 300 customers in line will receive a custom tote bag and Secret Saver coupon featuring offers up to $100 off. Later in the day, Gelatys will pass out complimentary gelato pops to afternoon shoppers.
Additionally, on opening morning, Whole Foods Market will provide a food donation to The Caring Place, a nonprofit that makes regular surplus food pickups from local Whole Foods Market stores to help prevent food waste and serve the surrounding community. This organization previously received a refrigerated van from Whole Foods Market. This food donation is part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods program, which aims to enhance the ability of local food rescue organizations to transport surplus food to areas facing the greatest need. Whole Foods Market will also donate to area organizations Urban Oasis Project and Lotus House.
All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s rigorous Quality Standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company’s body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens and microbeads.
