NASHUA, N.H. (Nov. 12, 2024) Whole Foods Market will open a new 44,600-square-foot store located at 272 Daniel Webster Highway on December 10. The store will open at 9:00 a.m. on opening day. Regular store hours will be 8:00 a.m. – 9:00 p.m. daily. The new location’s product assortment will include more than 1,180 items from New England with more than 300 from New Hampshire, sourced with the help of Holly Long, Forager for Local & Emerging Brands at Whole Foods Market.

Features of the new Nashua store include:

  • An array of certified organic, conventional and Sourced for Good Local from New Hampshire items include Eco Apples and squash and cider from Brookdale Fruit Farm.
  • Specialty department dedicated to celebrating cheesemakers and artisan producers. The cheese counter is overseen by trained cheesemongers and a Certified Cheese Professional who can offer recommendations for any occasion. Local from New Hampshire brands include North Country Smokehouse.
  • Curated grocery section filled with private label favorites from 365 by Whole Foods Market and local from New Hampshire products, including maple syrup and candy from Ben’s Sugar Shack, kimchi from Micro Mama’s, baklava and mamoul cookies from Aissa Sweets, condiments from The Spicy Shark and ice cream from Walpole Creamery.
  • Full-service seafood counter featuring only sustainable wild-caught or Responsibly Farmed seafood and a large selection of ready-to-cook seafood. New England-based seafood options include Luke’s Lobster, Twin Light Smokehouse and Fat Dog Oyster Farm.
  • Full-service meat counter, with butchers available to cut steaks and poultry to order. Features include dry-aged beef, sausage made in-house and local from New Hampshire pork from Elmartin Farm.
  • Extensive selection of more than 200 craft beers and 30 New England-based breweries, including local to New Hampshire Schilling Beer Co., Moat Mountain Brewing Company and Stoneface Brewing Co.
  • Prepared Foods department featuring a hot bar, salad bar, pizza, sushi made fresh daily from Genji and Asian dishes from Maine-based supplier Chow Maine Foods.
  • Bakery department offering hearth bread baked fresh daily as well as everyday favorites, such as Whole Foods Market’s Berry Chantilly Cake and brown butter cookies. The department also carries a wide variety of special diet items, including vegan brownies, cakes and chocolate chip cookies along with several gluten-free selections. Options from New England include pastries from Iggy’s Bread and baked doughnut bites from Bisousweet Confections.
  • Whole Body department with a large assortment of wellness, beauty and lifestyle items. New England-based products include soaps from Northwood Naturals, facial care from True Moringa and candles from Victoria Products and Seawicks Candles.

Opening morning, customers will receive complimentary coffee from Fazenda Coffee Roasters and pastries from Iggy’s Bakery. The first 300 customers in line will receive a custom tote bag and Secret Saver coupon featuring offers up to $100 off.

Local nonprofit organization Merrimack Valley Food Bank will receive a refrigerated van and food donation on opening day as part of Whole Foods Market’s Nourishing Our Neighborhoods Program. This initiative, launched in 2020, aims to enhance the operational capabilities of local food rescue organizations, enabling efficient transport of food from surplus locations to areas with the greatest need.

All food at Whole Foods Market must meet the company’s rigorous Quality Standards, which prohibit hydrogenated fats, high-fructose corn syrup and more than 300 flavors, colors, sweeteners and other ingredients commonly found in food. In addition, all beauty and body care products must meet the company’s body care standards, which ban more than 240 commonly used ingredients, including phthalates, parabens and microbeads.
