In its first quarter earnings report today, Whole Foods Market announced that it recently signed leases for eight new store locations in the United States and three in Canada.

The U.S. stores are planned for Baltimore, Bellingham, Washington, Bridgewater, New Jersey, Charlotte, North Carolina, Chicago, Mandeville, Louisiana, Sarasota, Florida, and Toledo, Ohio. The Canadian stores are planned for Calgary and Edmonton, Alberta, and Victoria, British Columbia.

The company currently operates 408 stores and has a total of 116 stores in development.
