Whole Foods Market reveals exclusive Hanukkah Dinner developed with chef Michael Solomonov

Retailer to offer modern Hanukkah menu from James Beard Award – winning chef and feature exclusive recipes on Hot Bar for limited time

AUSTIN, Texas (Dec. 2, 2019) – Whole Foods Market is teaming up with Michael Solomonov, James Beard Award–winning chef and co-owner of the famed Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia, to offer a modern Hanukkah Dinner for 8. The meal will be exclusively available for preorder online via shop.wfm.com from Dec. 3 through Dec. 29.

Solomonov cocreated the Hanukkah Dinner for 8 with Whole Foods Market’s Culinary Team to provide a gourmet menu that combines hearty winter vegetables with bold Israeli flavors. Each dish in the Hanukkah Dinner for 8 offers a unique take on traditions for an unforgettable meal.

The recipes featured in the meal will also be available on Whole Foods Market Hot Bars nationwide from Dec. 18 through Dec. 24.

Solomonov is a chef and co-owner of the famed Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia and a pillar in the Israeli food scene in the U.S. He’s received the James Beard Foundation’s triple crown for Outstanding Chef, Cookbook of the Year for “Zahav: A World of Israeli Cooking” and most recently, Outstanding Restaurant.

Solomonov is one of four culinary pros who Whole Foods Market has teamed up with for the holiday season, including Nicole Rucker, Jenné Claiborne and Stella Parks. The exclusive Hanukkah Dinner for 8 is available for preorder online Dec. 3 and throughout the holiday season at shop.wfm.com.
