AUSTIN, Texas (Oct. 1, 2019)This holiday season, Whole Foods Market will offer exclusive meals and desserts created in collaboration with acclaimed culinary pros, Jenné Claiborne, Michael Solomonov, Nicole Rucker and Stella Parks.

Beginning in early October, Whole Foods Market’s Bakery department will feature two exclusive desserts in stores nationwide: Honey Chess Pie, developed by Nicole Rucker, author of “Dappled: Baking Recipes for Fruit Lovers,” and Caramel Spice Cake, created by Stella Parks, James Beard Award–winning author of “BraveTart: Iconic American Desserts.” Rucker’s Honey Chess Pie combines a buttery custard with festive warming spices and honey, while Parks’ Caramel Spice Cake is stacked with layers of bright cranberry jam and topped off with cream cheese frosting and a caramel drizzle.

Whole Foods Market has also teamed up with Jenné Claiborne, chef, blogger and author of “Sweet Potato Soul: 100 Easy Vegan Recipes,” to develop a vegan meal that features hearty, comforting dishes for the holidays. Claiborne’s recipes are savory and smoky, bringing out the richness of each vegan ingredient in her Southern-inspired meal for four.

To round out the exclusive holiday offerings, Whole Foods Market’s culinary team has worked with Michael Solomonov, a James Beard Award–winning chef and co-owner of the famed Zahav restaurant in Philadelphia, to offer a modern Hanukkah menu that combines hearty winter vegetables with bold Israeli flavors. Each dish in the Hanukkah meal for eight offers a unique take on traditions for an unforgettable meal.

Both Whole Foods Market holiday meals and exclusive desserts will be available for pre-order online via shop.wfm.com, beginning with desserts and Claiborne’s vegan meal in November, and followed by Solomonov’s Hanukkah meal in December. The vegan and Hanukkah meals will also be available on Whole Foods Market hot bars nationwide for a limited time this holiday season.
