Whole Foods Market – Tampa is hosting its first ever Holiday Wine Show and Recycled Art Exhibit on Saturday, November 6, 2010 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm. Customers can enjoy a variety of over 30 wines from nearly every region of the world while perusing the recycled crafts, jewelry, sculptures, pottery, and more from the local community artists featured in the art show. The store’s Specialty Department will also help customers gear up for the holidays with samples of white, sparkling and dessert wines, as well as festive appetizers. The art exhibit is free and open to the public10.00 per person with 100% of the proceeds going to The Gold Shield Foundation. ****A Call to Artists: Local artists who use recycled or repurposed materials and/or local vendors selling handmade crafts, jewelry, clothing etc., are invited to participate in Whole Foods Market – Tampa’s first ever Red Wine and Green Art event. Interested artists and vendors can submit two-four photographs (JPEG format) of current work, along with a bio/CV to krystyn.walsh@wholefoods.com. All artwork must be made from recycled or repurposed materials and/or environmentally themed, all vendors must sell handmade items and be able to provide tables, tents, etc. Entries must be received no later than October 20, 2010.
