HOUSTON, Texas (May 7, 2018) – Whole Foods Market 365 today announced that Peli Peli Kitchen and Juice Society will be the two “Friends of 365” at the first Houston store set to open Summer 2018.
Through the Friends of 365 program, the company partners with outside chefs, food and lifestyle brands and culinary influencers to bring shoppers innovative in-store experiences. These Friends share Whole Foods Market’s quality standards, which means they also feature foods that are free of artificial preservatives, colors, flavors, sweeteners and hydrogenated fats.
Houston favorite Peli Peli Kitchen will open a South African-inspired restaurant inside the store. Their melting pot of flavors can be found in their sandwiches, tacos, salads and entrees. Most recently, Eater Houston chose Peli Peli Kitchen as their Fast-Casual Restaurant of the Year.
Austin-based Juice Society will offer a juice and coffee bar at 365 Independence Heights. They are a wellness brand dedicated to serving the community with high-quality, functional and superfood-focused products in a unique and exciting way.
The 30,000 square foot store at 101 North Loop West in Independence Heights will be the 10th Whole Foods Market 365 location nationwide, and the second in Texas. Whole Foods Market 365 stores offer exceptional value, in a fun and convenient new format, all while maintaining Whole Foods Market’s industry-leading quality standards.
