Whole Foods Market ranked No. 14 on the second annual Great Place to Work® Great Rated!™ “People’s Pick: 20 Great Places to Work in Retail” list.
The top 20 companies were selected based on the average scores of nearly 20,000 employees, who were surveyed using the Trust Index©, Great Place to Work's employee assessment survey.
On the survey, team members reported that they are attracted to Whole Foods Market’s “convivial workforce, community involvement and dedication to putting healthy, high-quality food on the American table.” Wage transparency, team member discounts, health benefits and a team-based working environment were also cited as reasons for making this year’s list.
