LOS ANGELES, CA (August 20, 2013) –Whole Foods Market is now offering the signature style of American filmmaker, writer, musician and visual artist David Lynch in a buzzworthy section of its Southern California stores – the coffee aisle. The David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee line, which features three premier coffee blends, is meticulously taste-tested and selected by Lynch, a self-proclaimed “coffee-obsessed” drinker himself.

To celebrate the introduction of his Signature Cup Coffee Line to Whole Foods Market stores, the “Twin Peaks” director will be at Whole Foods Market West Hollywood on Aug. 24, from 2-3 p.m. for a special signing and tasting event. The general public is invited to attend for a chance to meet Lynch and receive an autograph on any purchased bag of coffee or “The Big Dream” vinyl record/ CD, Lynch’s newest studio album (also available for purchase at Whole Foods Market West Hollywood), along with complimentary David Lynch memorabilia and a chance to taste Lynch’s three unique blends, offered only at Whole Foods Market.
In introducing his new line of coffee to Whole Foods Market, Lynch issued the following statement: “Hello, Whole Foods Market Shoppers! David Lynch Signature Cup Coffee will be available only at Whole Foods Market’s 20 Southern California stores and online. The line includes three blends, each of which is $15.99 per 12 oz. bag:
- David Lynch Signature Cup House Blend: A smooth, light roast, brewed from beans grown in the rugged Sierra Madres of Oaxaca Mexico, where small farmers with less than two acres apiece make up a cooperative that has been growing organic coffee for as long as anyone can remember. With strict processing standards and high altitude requirements, consistent and exceptional cup quality is achieved in this special blend.
- David Lynch Signature Cup Espresso: Rich and luscious with chocolate notes, this medium-dark roast is Lynch’s choice for the perfect caffè latte.
