AUSTIN, Texas (March 25, 2019) – For the second year, Whole Foods Market partners with James Beard Award-winning cookbook author Joan Nathan to offer unique and delicious dishes for Passover. Nathan, an expert on Jewish cooking, developed a Passover meal for eight, now available for pre-order in store and online at shop.wfm.com.

“I couldn’t be happier to once again work with Whole Foods Market to share some of my best recipes for Passover,” said Nathan. “Shoppers loved the menu we put together last year, and we worked hard to top it with this year’s selection. We feel confident they won’t be disappointed! It makes me so happy to see families carry on the traditions I love.”

The recipes featured in the Passover meal for eight include: Wine-Braised Brisket, Tunisian Cumin Coriander Carrots, Bulgarian Roasted Red Pepper and Tomato Salad, Asparagus with Lemon, Parsley and Roasted Almonds, Rosemary Fingerling Potatoes and Apple Pecan Charoset. Dishes are available for in-store pick-up beginning Wednesday, April 17 through Saturday, April 27.

“Joan is such a fantastic partner for Whole Foods Market, and we are fortunate to work with her on these original recipes,” said Alan Morgan, Executive Leader of Global Culinary Development for Whole Foods Market. “We love working with her, and it’s safe to say we’ve continued to get more creative and raise the bar. These recipes will be a hit in our stores, and I look forward to enjoying them myself!”

Nathan is the author of numerous award-winning cookbooks, including her most recent, King Solomon’s Table, winner of the 2018 IACP International Cookbook Award.
