ATLANTA (February 12, 2014) – Whole Foods Market (NASDAQ: WFM) announced today it will open a new location in the mixed-use development at the corner of Barrett Parkway and U.S. 41/Cobb Parkway. The newest store in Georgia for the natural and organic foods supermarket will occupy approximately 45,000 square feet of retail space. The new store is slated to open in 2016.

Whole Foods Market's presence in Georgia includes eight locations in metro-Atlanta and one store in Savannah. Augusta, opening later this year, will be the tenth location in the state.
