Kirkland, Washington (June 13, 2018) – Whole Foods Market will open its new Kirkland, Washington location on Thursday, August 16 at 12501 120th Avenue NE in The Village at Totem Lake. The 43,000-square foot store is the 10th location in Washington, and the 27th in the Pacific Northwest region.   

“We’re excited to join Kirkland’s vibrant community with the opening of our new Whole Foods Market store,” said Angela Lorenzen, Regional President for Whole Foods Market in the Pacific Northwest. “The new store will feature locally-sourced and seasonal products, as well as delicious, healthy lunches and grab-and-go dinners. We’re looking forward to becoming a welcoming gathering place for the neighborhood.”   

The new store will bring Kirkland shoppers a butcher and fishmonger who can help custom cut or prep ingredients, as well as knowledgeable cheesemongers and produce experts. The prepared foods department will also feature a team of chefs who will create ready to eat takeout meals for customers every day. Whole Foods Market Kirkland will feature an expanded indoor and outdoor café seating area, complete with complementary wifi.

Every item sold in the store meets Whole Foods Market’s industry-leading quality standards and is free of artificial flavors, colors, sweeteners, preservatives and hydrogenated fats.
