ORLANDO, Fla. – Summer break is about to come to an end, and with that comes the beginning of a new school year for elementary school students in Orange County.

To help students – and their parents for that matter – ease into that first day back, Whole Foods Market locations in Winter Park and Orlando will be providing a total of 600 free back-to-school lunches as part of their Back to School Bash this Sunday, Aug. 18.

Lunches will be available while supplies last and children must be present with a parent/adult to receive a free lunch. Complete details are as follows:

 

Whole Foods Market Winter Park

1989 Aloma Avenue

Aug. 18 – Noon to 3 p.m.

The first 300 kids ages 12 and under will receive a pre-packed lunch for their first day of school.

Pre-packed lunch includes: a variety of sandwiches, KIND bars, veggie and hummus, fruit and a juice box. The first 50 parents will also receive a free Whole Foods Market gift bag. Additional activities will also be taking place during the day.

 

Whole Foods Market Orlando (Philips Crossing)

8003 Turkey Lake Road

Aug. 18 – Noon to 3 p.m.
