Whole Foods Market’s Champions store opens Wednesday, June 25, at 10133 Louetta Road in Houston, following a 7:30 a.m. bread-breaking ceremony.
The store’s first 500 shoppers will receive Better Bags with Whole Foods Market product samples. Shoppers can also enjoy special store-opening sales and music, as well as tips and tours.
Whole Foods Market will host a series of community-giving days during opening week. The store will donate 1 percent of net sales for each of its first five days to local nonprofits. Recipients include Klein Independent School District Foundation, D. Bradley McWilliams YMCA at Cypress Creek, Barbara Bush Library Friends, Cypress Creek Foundation for the Arts & Community Enrichment (FACE), and SIRE, Houston's Therapeutic Equestrian Centers.
The Champions store is Whole Foods Market’s eighth location in Greater Houston.
