ATLANTA (May 6, 2015) – Whole Foods Market announced today that it has signed leases for two new locations—Midtown and Brookhaven—in Greater Atlanta.
The Midtown location, a 70,000-square-foot, multi-level flagship store, is expected to open in 2017. The store will be located at the intersection of 14th, West Peachtree, and Spring streets, near Interstate 85.
The Brookhaven store will be part of the Peachtree Crossing development at the intersection of Johnson Ferry Road and Peachtree Boulevard in Chamblee. The 40,000-square-foot store is expected to open in early 2017.
“We are thrilled to be adding to our Atlanta roster with these two beautiful stores,” said Omar Gaye, president of Whole Foods Market’s South Region. “The Midtown location will be our flagship of the South region, serving a fast-paced, thriving, diverse community, while Brookhaven will be an exciting new development all its own. Whole Foods Market looks forward to serving these neighborhoods and becoming a big part of the communities.”
