Whole Foods Market’s eighth U.K. store will open Tuesday, Oct. 8, in historic Richmond town centre in southwest London. The doors will open at 10 a.m., following a bread-breaking ceremony.

“We are extremely excited to be opening here in Richmond upon Thames,” Store Team Leader Larry Hadley said. “Richmond is a fantastic borough with a close-knit community. We have created 120 new jobs for local people, and we’ve had brilliant support locally. We trust that will continue in the years to come.”

The grand opening event will feature free samples and tasters, music, face painting for children and store tours. Festivities will continue through the opening week and weekend.

The store will set aside 5 percent of its net profit from the opening day for donations to Vineyard Church, Poppy Appeal—Royal British Legion, Orange Tree Theatre, Home Start Richmond and Avenue Club—Kew.
