Whole Foods Market has announced plans to open a second store in Winter Park, Fla., at the corner of Lee Road and U.S. 17-92. Its current store on Aloma Avenue will remain open.

The second store will have more than 40,000 square-feet of retail space, making it nearly double the size of the Whole Foods Market on Aloma Avenue. The additional size and space will allow team members to meet customers’ ever-increasing demand for new products and expanded services.

“Since opening our first Winter Park store in 1998, we’ve built a loyal following and an incredible community partnership,” said Juan Nunez, Florida regional president. “By adding a location, we believe this a great opportunity to better serve our loyal customers, the 17-92 corridor and the growing Winter Park community.”
